750 ml caged and corked bottle. Poured a clear and golden-orange coloured BdG with a two fingers slightly beige, dense and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is solid malty, faint grassy hops, honey notes, fruity, citrus, herbal and flowery tones. The flavour is sweety grainy malts, honey, fruity, citrus, earthy hops and herbs, mint leaves. The mouthfeel is round, sparkling, creamy and herbal bitter. The texture is oily. Thi medium bodied BdB has a dry sweety malty and herbal bitter finish. A very refreshing, tasting and characterful Bière de Garde from Péronne in the French Picardie. I enjoyed it.

Bottle. Hazy orange colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma is impressively barnyardy, walking a fine line between rustic (hay, cheese etc.) and shit (in the manure sense). Some fruit and malts in there as well. Tastes a bit like a cider on first inspection, highly carbonated, fruity and quite sour throughout. Light to medium bodied. I think I quite like it.
