April 2013: 500 ml bottle, from Superbrugsen, Denmark, ABV is 7.5%. Amber to brown colour, moderate white (or slightly off-white) head. Fairly strong aroma of caramel malts and brown bread, a hint of liquorice. The flavour is malty with plenty of caramel, some spicy hops in the finish, a hint of liquorice again. More hops would be desirable, but for a Harboe product this is not too bad.

the color is medium caramel, the head is crisp and fades fast, the aroma is malty and somewhat oily, the taste is malty with a bitter finish holding no alcohol at all - the carbonation is very well-balanced
