Cask at The Harp, London. Very dark colour, nearly black, reddish in the highlights. Low tan head. Moderate roasty aroma, hints of coffee and dark chocolate. Soft and smooth mouthfeel. The flavour is roasty with coffee notes, medium dry. Decent enough.

Cask. Quite much a pitch black coloured beer with beigeish brown foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, along with some mild liquorice, fruits and berries. Flavour is roasted malts, some slight smoked wet wood, liquorice and mild berryish notes. Semidry palate.

ours out in a dark brown colour with a low firm beige foam. Rounded aroma of cocoa, burnt malts and coffee-beans. Medium to light-bodied with notes of chocolate-cookies, smoke and ash. Mild but rather long finish of cocoa-powder and coffee.
