An extremely hoppy ale, that really does smell like weed.

Pours a reddish amber color with a foamy light tan head. Citrus, sweet malt, caramel and earthy resiny hops on the nose. Tastes as it smells with citrus leading the flavor parade followed by earthy hop, sweet malt and caramel. Long lasting hop presence, dry and bitter. Another example of a Midwest IPA. Unlike a West Coast IPA. Very unique. Enjoyable and similar to their but Crooked Tree IPA, but not as good, IMO. Still worth trying.

Pours a nice reddish orange with a soft golden hue deep within it. Hazy. Head was off white, fell reasonably and di not leave much lace to speak of. The aroma is gentle but fruity. Orange citrus and a berry like tropical scent that is hard to pin down. Candy malt and a bit of graham cracker too. The taste is a sweet tropical fruitiness. Orange and orange pith. Finishes sticky and with a lazy bitter that lingers for a bit and then flourishes a little. Big malt flavor but not heavy. A bit of spice pops up on the nose as it warms and in the finish. Some apricot tartness takes you by surprise and the caramel comes forward more and more with a little honey to go with that orange. The mouth feel is creamy and medium bodied.
