Introducing DANKWORTH HBC 586, a 8% Double IPA... DANKWORTH is back, again with a experimental hop variety—HBC 586. This new varietal was bred and grown at Yakima Chief Ranch, developed with the sole intention of packing as much fruit medley complexity possible into a single variety. We are big fans… tons of tropical fruits with just the right amount of dank herbal hop aroma. DANKWORTH, is our double IPA that pays homage to the original hazy DIPAs from back East. Slightly less wheat than typical for us, no oats, present bitterness, dry, but still full-bodied, and crushable. This gives us the perfect vessel to load up on a single variety or even dual hop blend to get the true expression of what these hops do in our brewery. Letting us figure out how utilize them in our ideal way on future beers. The hops are meant to shine in a pure form on this one, without overly fruity yeast character and that thicker body getting in the way. DANKWORTH with HBC 586 utilizes American Pils Malt, Malted White Wheat, and a touch of Grain R&D Blue Beard Durum. Kettle/WP hopped and dry hopped solely with HBC 586. Initial strong aromas of guava, pineapple, lychee, mandarin. Resinous and full of fruit on the pallet with a pleasant dryness.Introducing DANKWORTH HBC 586, a 8% Double IPA...
