Crowbar Feather Ale
Crowbar Feather Ale
Rated 3.000 by BeerPals
Inspired by a beer from back home in Canada and looking to do a nice, light flavoured beer we have made a green tea and citrus peel beer. It was very necessary to make this beer pale in colour, low in bitterness and alcohol to allow for the green tea flavours to be noticed. The orange & lemon peel plus lemon grass was put in because everyone likes the flavour of citrus, right?…

On tap at Crowbar & Bryggeri, Oslo. Deep golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, carame and tea. Medium sweet and caramelly with noticable tea flavour and a slightly dry and bitter finish with notes of tea and citrus. Quite well balanced. Nice enough, but a bit weak in flavour even if the tea is obvious enough. (2013-02-03)
