Hop aroma and flavor dominate this IPA. However, the malt character of this deep amber colored ale nicely balances the hop component thus avoiding a harsh bitterness. A truly quaffable beverage!

A canned beer from South Dakota. It wasn't a bad beer, but there was nothing outstanding about it either. Reddish gold in colour, white head. Aroma was weak hops, and caramel malt. Flavour was the same.

I like that I now have another good option available in cans. Good looking light amber pour with a thick white head. Aroma is surprisingly weak--just a hint of floral hops. Taste is bitter but again without the citrus and pine punch in the mouth that I have come to expect from good IPAs. Overall, not bad.

provided by Mosiac .. . Pours tan with great foam, decent lacing .. . mild floral notes with touches of resin, you are full of shit! .. . A nice IPA and i get to cross off South Dakota .. . But I do feel like she tried the intervention on us ..

Sampled at GABF on 9/16/2010. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy and floral. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity. Nice carbonation. Medium bitterness. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Brought back from Spearfish,SD in a growler that was packed away in a side compartment of my folk’s motorcyle. Hardly any room, but they squeezed it in there. How cool is that? A pretty nice full bodied IPA. Cracking it open, it didn’t make a whole lot of fizz, but once I poured it in my glass, the foam started rising to the top. Huge white frothy head. Awesome clarity, bright, clear copper colour. Aroma was pretty neutral suprisingly. But taste was super smooth with ful floral and piney notes. Thanks mom and dad!
