500 ml bottle, bought in Scarborough. ABV is 4.2%. Bottle conditioned. Black colour, huge tan head. Moderate aroma with some fruitiness and notes of mild coffee, hints of chocolate. Acidic / sour flavour, very strange for a stout, some coffee roastiness in the background. Did not do much for me this one. Disappointing.

Thanks to Tom Nickel for cracking open this bottle at O’briens. Pours with a very dark brown to black body with red tinting and no head or lacing. Bitter with a heavy roastiness, a little licorice and a touch of sweetness. Very thin for a stout and smooth.

beautiful black colour, nice foam, aroma of grilled bred and coffee, chocolate taste with some unpleasant acidity, too much carbonation
