La Domartoise, bière plus estivale, légère et très rafraîchissante, est aussi très caractéristique. Parfumée à l'anis étoilé ( badiane ), elle ne laissera pas les curieux indifférents.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

750 ml capped bottle. Poured an unfiltered opaque amber coloured ale with a generous two fingers creamy pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and plenty of bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate malty and heavy spicy, star anise, coriander. The flavour is sweety grainy malts, dried fruits, walnuts and spicy, star anise. The mouthfeel is clean and a bit watery. This light bodied Spiced Ale has a dry spicy finish. A very drinkable Spiced Ale from a tiny brewery in Northern France, in Picardie.
