In the 1960s, before Vail Village was paved and closed to vehicles, "hookiebobbing" referred to those committed fools who, while on skis, grabbed onto the bumper of passing cars to tow them up to the lifts. Our IPA is a Colorado approach to the American take of an English classic. Three aggressive yet floral American hops and one hop from Down Under team together to make a bright, citrusy and floral India Pale Ale. A deep caramel malt helps to balance the bitterness of the hops and lets the complex hop bill shine. Food Pairings: Gorgonzola cheese, chicken tikka masala or curry, ginger spice cake Drink Mindfully: 1% of all proceeds are donated to the Shaw Cancer Center Prostate Cancer Prevention Program shawcancercenter.com THE BREWHAHA ABV:6.7% IBU: 87 SRM: 15 OG: 1.064 Hops: Simcoe, Amarillo, Centennial, Galaxy

Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aroma has fruity and malty notes with a hint of hops. Flavor is fruity and just a little malty. Texture has average body and fizz. Go crazy!

I had this beer at my hotel in Denver, CO. An all around decent IPA. Nothing to write home about. A more citrus than pine hop profile but not biased strongly in the citrus direction.

Sampled from bottle. Pours clear gold with a thin off-white head and nice lace. Pleasant spicy, floral, citrus hop aroma. Good bitterness and just enough malt complexity to make it interesting. Medium-bodied and moderate carbonation is heightened by the bright hop flavor. A fine IPA but I imagine it gets lost in the shuffle amidst a competitive Colorado IPA market.

Floral, citrus and spicy hops comingle pretty nicely, though hopped fairly tamely for an american ipa. had on tap, sp fresher than their cans have been the last couple times. Easy drinking with a light bitter, caramel, biscuit malt finish.

Poured a golden amber color with a nice ivory head, sporadic lace left behind. Aromas of sweet biscuit, caramel, citrus zest and grapefruit. On the palate this one was light to medium bodied, with flavors of biscuit, caramel, citrus and light grapefruit. O.K. at best.

22 oz bottle. Pours clear dark gold with a medium white head that quickly goes to a thin collar that laces the glass some.
The aroma is sweet crystal malts and fruity, grassy hops.
The flavor is sweet caramel malts with some fruity grassy hops that have good bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit watery.
Overall, it has good bitterness but too much sweet malt and not good hop flavors. It's a bit vegetal too.
