Pours a huge frothy beige head, great retention. Has a dark copper/ brownish appearance. Sticky lacing. Toasty and nutty malt aromas as well as earthy hops. Fairly bitter on the palate. Flavours of light chocolate, toffee and mild caramel notes. Some sweet malts mostly in the finish but well balanced with the hop bitterness. Not sure but seems like alcohol comes out a bit once it warms up. Lively carbonation. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Not too bad.
