Tropical fruit meets tropical vibes in this “guavacated” version of our Islander IPA. Brewed with the classic West Coast combo of Centennial, Chinook and Columbus hops, this beer gets the tropical treatment with a hefty dose of fresh guava puree. The result is a surprisingly smooth, unfiltered IPA bursting with tropical goodness that’s sure to put you in that island state of mind.

Pours clear topaz with a thick and fairly persistent snowy head. Aroma provides tart and sweet guava, resiny hops, subtle citrus and malt notes. Flavor features tart and sweet guava, piney and somewhat bitter hops, malty and citrus tones in supporting roles. Texture offers decent body, perky fizz, and a guava and hoppy finish. Guava for it.

12 oz can. Pours hazy straw yellow with a medium bubbly white head that retains well and leaves little lacing.

The aroma is subdued - sweet tropical fruit and resiny hops.

The flavor is sweet bready biscuit malt with citrus fruit and an earthy resiny hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with slightly sharp carbonation.

Overall, an OK lightly fruited malty IPA. I'd like a little more fruit.
