Pours a nice golden-amber with a lot of visible carbonation. Good and durable white head. The aroma is similar to some Belgian pales, light bready malt with a mix of spices. The spices are more pronounced in tasting and mostly over-power the malts. Fortunately, the spice mix is appealing, and mixes well with the hops. Surprisingly tart, especially for a lager, with a solid lemon-lime component. The mouthfeel is nice airy, light feel; good, lively carbonation.

Oddly spiced and lightly hopped...not my idea of a good time. Very mellow citrus hops and an odd combo of ginger, herbs and generic tasting sweet malt. Blah...

Mid yellow hazy body, thin ring of head, no lace. Aromas and flavors of spices, wheat, some very slight citrus notes. Overall if it were a bit more assertive it would be better, just needs a bit more presence.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy dark gold with a big rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet citrusy malts, floral spices, and ginger. Smells a bit like soapy household cleaning supplies.
The flavor is more of the same - sweet malts, floral spices and a lot of spicy ginger. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with sharp carbonation.
Overall, tastes like a soapy ginger wit. Interesting but not too appealing to me. -

This reminded me of a lighter/less bodied version of their Mermaid pilsner. Good flavor.. would be great for a hot summer day, although I'm drinking on a cooler winter night. Appearance and aroma is kind of weak, but that is really my only complaint here. Flavor and mouthfeel win here.

Smell is citrus with corriander and lemon scents sticking out to me. Orange colored pour with very minimal head. Flavor of citrus, a little hop, and anise seed and black pepper sticking out. Not my favorite, but a drinkable beer.

A beer of the month club offering for may/june 2010. Pours a bright cloudy yellow, short lived head. Aroma is non-intrusive but pleasant. Flavor is crisp and refreshing, with a bit of spice as expected in a wheat based beer. A somewhat seductive label graphic.

Pale golden yellow that appears cloudy and a nice half inch cap floating on top, there something about the look of this beer that has the look of concentrated pee. Aroma is sad and mild, like a scared puppy at the pet store that just wet itself because some jerk taped the window even thought there is a sign that clearly states not to tap the glass. Anyway it smells sour, bready and has hints of spice. The taste is a non taste but has the taste of too much carbonation. There is no taste to speak of until almost room temperature and then it starts to resemble a bagot mead but not really , apple, honey, peach, bready overly carbonated malts. Some bitter hopes started to show in the finish. What a bland disappointing beer that did not offend in any way.

A fuzzy golden yellow colored beer. Small soapy textured white head. No hang time on this one. Lacing is light. The smell is spicy, tart citrus and pepper. The body is medium. Lightly carbonated. Creamy on the palate. Spicy in flavor. I get coriander, pepper. This one is different, if nothing else.
