Forgot about this one, can from the brewery. Dark brown colour, almost black with a big frothy light mocha-coloured head, good retention and lots of wavy creamy-foamy lacing. Aromas of roasted malts with some light sweetness. This from the chocolate malts seem to show more in the taste with hints of coffee and smokiness. A pretty good dry stout.

Thanks to Chopz for picking this up at the brewery. Pours a big frothy brownish head and has a dark brown appearance with amber highlights. Decent dirty lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aromas roasted malts, a bit toasty, earthy hops, a little bit smoky as well. Flavours are sweet, some chocolate and coffee notes, roasted malt, a little woody and smoky. Mild spice notes in the finish. Smooth, slick and light drying mouthfeel. Mild warming sensation on the palate. Easy going and perfect for this November weather at the moment.
