An explosion of flavour throughout the mouth. Very pleasant, very citrusy. More tangerine than orange or grapefruit. Like drinking orange juice without the juice. No real hop taste all citrus, if that's your thing. Alternatively there is a bit of a.....I guess grainy feel to it. Like eating an orange on a rye bread sandwich.

The beer pours a very hazed light golden/straw colour with a generous bubbly cap that lingers for a few minutes. The initial aroma when I opened the can was Canadian macro lager, but once I poured, a light citrus hop note that is mildly overpowered by grass and herbal notes started to become the main theme. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is quite grainly with spicy hop tones intertwined. Not something I would try again.

Can from Sault Ste. Marie LCBO. Pours a very slight hazed golden colour with a frothy white head, decent retention and some foamy lacing. A nice fresh, mild grassy hop aroma over some good light grains. The taste has a nice balanced of both again, with some bitterness from the hops. Refreshing, even not cold. I quite like this golden ale overall as a go-to better swill.

Tallboy from LCBO. Pours a fairly small frothy white coating and has yellow/golden appearance. Some decent dirty lacing. Aromas are grainy, malty and grassy. Flavours are very malty, more of the grainy malts, grassy and wheaty as well. Barley malts are quite noticeable more in the finish. Hints of herbal and resin hops. Good retention. Average mouthfeel. Average carbonation also. The aftertaste is a bit of a turnoff, almost metallic and musty. Likely my least favourite from these guys.
