Saint of Circumstance is an easy drinking blonde ale which we then elevate to another level by infusing the zest of citrus fruits which are in season. We then compliment this by utilizing hops which also have wonderful citrus profiles. The result is this remarkably easy drinking blonde ale with just the right amount of citrus to make it amazingly refreshing! Another great beer from the fine folks at Collective Arts. While it’s a blond ale, it isn’t boring. It pours a slightly hazed medium gold colour with a frothy off-white cap sticks around long enough to say hello. The aroma is light grains, some light fruit, and floral hops. The flavour is a nice balance between the grains, the fruit, and the bitter hop finish. Perfect for those who like their blondes with a bit of oomph!

473ml can. Pours an average size foamy bubbly white head and has a somewhat clear golden appearance. Some thick sticky lacing remains. Aromas of citrus and grassy hops. Flavours are also mainly citrusy, a little bit yeasty hints. Some bready malt notes as well, in the finish mostly. Drying sensation on the palate. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Pretty good retention. Not too bad.

An ale made with Pilsner malt? And a blonde ale at that(also made w/ wheat), which I guess is vastly different from being made w/ Pilsner hops, but still. My first time ever trying a so-called proper blonde ale, outside of the macro Molson Ex, and it's inspiration, Oland Export, and wow was I ever impressed. Subtle, not over powering and grows on you the more you drink of it. Very tasty. The nose as well is also very subtle. One of the few beers I have ever had that has the same taste out of the vessel, in this case the bottle, as it does out of the glass. I think I've found a new go to.

Second brew from these brewers, with zest of orange and lemon. Hops written on label are Centennial, Citra and Aramillo. Smells quite fresh, like it, at first pour. Very pale golden colour with a big frothy white head, good retention and foamy lacing (slightly unfiltered). Aromas of nice citrus blends over the grass. After such a nice nose, the taste falls a little short. Kind of a thin mouthfeel with not much taste to it. Very mild hops with some watery malts in the finish. Feels like a real light beer with good hops, which would be fine if this was under 4% ABV. Lacking flavours for a 4.7% ABV.
