Not the best stout I've ever consumed. The appearance is average for a stout. The mouthfeel was dry, and flavor left me turned off. Overall, I'd say that this is not a have again.

Compared to other oatmeal stouts, this is quite dry. It has much more in common with Guinness than Sam Smith's. In fact, I believe it is misnamed. Once one gets past the dashed expectations, this is a pleasant, easy-drinking stout. Intricate lace marked every sip. Only its relatively thin body prevents higher marks.
