    80 Anniversary! Big ass green bottle from non other than the Ghana Beer Guru, pfoxyjohn. Light yellow pour with a pretty decent white and fairly heavy lacing throughout - a nice but light looking lager. Near-skunked hops aroma, very Euro lager-like, light wet corn and malts. Mouthfeel is thin, taste predictable: lightly skunky hopped corn-infused, wet malted lager. Actually paired this with a Taco (H)Bell meal it was drinkable. Thanks John for this Ghana Legend.     Bottled in Ghana. I get a ton of emails from Ghana asking me for my help to park money....maybe they had drank quite of bit of this stuff before sending off those emails. The fact is....there is nothing premium about this lager. It is pale gold, white head, grainy and metallic on the nose, grainy and acidic on the tongue. One try of this beer is enough.

    Bottled. Golden colour with small white head. Aroma is toffeeish with some slight notes of grains. Flavour is mainly hay with some hints of mainly vegetables. Quite mouthdrying. Better than I had waited for this one.

    clear golden colour, almost no foam, grassy and oily hoppiness, very tart, sweet, quite light-bodied, dry finish with some malty notes - come on, this is not that bad ...

    Sampled from bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy yellow with a thin, white scattered head but nice lacing. Aroma is sour and lightly spicy. Flavor is Euro aromatic malts and probably saaz hops (citrus, spice). The trub floating in the beer is a bit concerning and unattractive. Ghana's version of Heineken? Why would one do such a thing? At least I can say I've had a beer from Ghana.
