This exotic stout is a relative of Chocolate Sombrero, with the Mexican spices replaced by the flavors of chai tea: ginger, cardamon, cinnamon and vanilla. Dear head banging craft beer drinkers, please remember, "Our love for you is like a truck...BERSERKER!"

Had this about a year ago and forgot to review. Not really that spicy as far is heat goes. Also mild with the other spices, which sort of has that winter theme going on. Well balanced and drinkable for 10%. Dark black appearance with a mocha head. This is a good sharing brew.

Pours a deep sable with a thick, if not too persistent, chocolate-tan head. Roast malt aroma has an overtone of horehound plus notes of caramel and chocolate, plus a hint of yeast. Flavor has bold coffee, roast malt and semi-sweet chocolate notes with underpinnings of caramel and licorice, plus a hint of woody hops. Texture is viscous and smooth, though fizz leaves a bit to be desired. Go berserk in Bombay - or Atlanta, or Detroit, or Toronto, or wherever you are!

Pours black, khaki head that slowly fades and leaves decent retention and lacing. The aromas are chocolate, anise, and cinnamon. Some cocoa malts in the mix as well. The flavors seem to really match the nose. Lots of milk chocolate. Lots of cinnamon spices followed by some ginger. The anise is there, but isn't as dominant as it is in the nose. There are hints of vanilla bean as well. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is full-bodied and creamy. Very smooth with moderate carbonation.

A deep black in color. A big frothy textured, brown head rises above. There's good hang time on the head. A healthy splotching of film aside the glass and a moderate ringlet are left. The profile in both nose and on palate is cinnamon and roasted malt. Nothing offensive. Really a decent drink

22 oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a medium creamy tan head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is sweet roasted grains with some chocolate and cinnamon.

The flavor is sweet roasted chocolate malts with some spicy cinnamon and ginger. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, it's interesting with roast chocolate and some surprisingly spicy cinnamon and ginger.
