    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

750 ml capped bottle bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Civale designed stemmed glass an unfiltered and strong hazy ruby-brown coloured ESB with a two fingers dark beige and dense creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. A lot of floating sediments. The aroma is moderate roasted malts, caramel, grassy hops and notes of caramel. The flavour is light roasted malts, spicy, pepper, fruity, oranges, citrus and a solid floral hoppy bitterness, notes of caramel and licorice. The mouthfeel is fulled, quite thick and a bit oily. This medium to full bodied ESB has a dry bitter finish. A very nice ESB from the Bella Italia !
