Named for the often foggy island where it is brewed. This wheat beer is fermented with Belgian yeast and brewed with fresh fruit and spices. A unique ale that emits a complex, earthy nose and a soft, mid-palate maltiness with hints of tropical fruit. Dry and spicy.

12oz can from College Liquors
Pours cloudy straw yellow with a small white head, some lacing. Aroma of citrus zest, herbal tea and straw. Taste is grassy, oranges, sweet malts and wheat
Not a fan of this oneAroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7
Pours a hazy honey-yellow with a fine-bubbled eggshell head. Malty aroma has a yeasty note and a strong coriander-ish overtone. Flavor has malty and coriander notes, not much else but still OK. Firm texture is quite fizzy, though the tingle doesn’t last. Not too shabby.

Light hazy straw yellow with short-lived white head, not much lacing. Spicy aroma and initial palate with coriander, tangerine and lemon peels, black pepper, a hint of clove, Belgiany yeasts. Not too bad with a nice salad. Not as hateful to me as previous reviews would indicate.

Pours out a semi-cloudy pale amber with a sub one finger head that goes away instantly. Well carbonated. Aroma is slightly doughy with hints of dry malts. Taste starts off with a big spice note that turns into a slightly metallic hint. Finishes off slightly fruity and ever so slightly dry. For a Wit it is typical but I would rather have an Alaskan. One thing is it is easy, very easy going down and would actually be a nice warm weather beer. For a tasting beer this is one that I will not have that much again.

A cloudy, dull yellow colored beer. A big frothy textured, white head rises briefly above. It settles in short order, leaving a thin soapy ringlet. Light-medium bodied. Low carbonation. Light hints of coriander and bread in the nose. More pronounced in the taste. A rating of okay. Nothing exciting

Underwhelmingly average. Pours fuzzy yellow green with a huge head at first, but the head disappears completely. Aroma is citrus and rotting grass. Mouth is sharp and tinny. Flavor is about the same with some non descript spice and sour.
