Rated in 2012. 750mL bottle pours clear gold with near white head of foam. The aroma offers up a nice load of nearly vibrant, for the style, hoppiness and earthy green leaf notes. Smells yummy. The taste is firmly hop forward, again for the style, with a pleasing mix of lemon, lime and grapefruit all tempered by mild levels of malts, grainy malts, a bit of cereal and wheat. Great hot weather brew and I love the hop forward aspect as it increases the sessionability of it.

Probably the best wheat beer that I had. More like a wheaty pale ale. Definitely generously hopped...but not like an IPA or anything. Pale yellow semi-cloudy appearance with white head. Flavor is wheat with some citrus hop to it. Wound up spilling the 2nd half during the Heat- Thunder Game 1 Finals (drinking Tropical Heatwave to support the Miami Heat), which losing the beer hurt more than it spilling on the carpet. Usually do not feel that brew this strength supports the price tag, but this is actually something that I would like to get again. More of a 'sharing' beer though. I suppose this is limited though, so may have to wait until next year :(
