Rated in Feb. 2010. Growler courtesy of tpd975. Pours deep amber with bright copper hues and off white head. The aroma is a pleasing mix of full on rich nuttiness mingling in harmony with roasted malts and a sense of burnt malts in the background. The taste is smooth and thick, well as thick as a brown can be, with chewy nuttiness and a variety of roasty malt goodness. It dries out nicely into the finish making for a refreshing experience. The fresh nuttiness is just delicious in this beer.
