Rated in Aug. 2011. On tap at CCB pouring up murky sluggish brown like chocolate with tan head. The aroma has a pleasing level of near dank earthy basement, some roasty malts, coffee covered vanilla bean and some sugar covered oak. Wow, nice. The taste is pretty yummy with rich earthy – dark roasty malts – chocolate goodness. Behind those notes I’m getting dark roasted malts that bleed into a thin dark roasted coffee like vein of flavor. I dig it.
