Rated in July 2009. The fluid poured out of the brewery purchased growler a striking amber with tan head. The aroma is a big nose full of dark roasted coffee with much softer notes of varied roasted malts. The taste isn’t that far from being a cup-o-joe to start with plenty of dark roasted coffee. By midway and to the finish the coffee recedes back enough to reveal notes of roasted malts, sweet malts and a sprinkling of cacao nibs.
