Rated in March 2011. Poured up on tap at CCB with clear and dark with mahogany colored body and tan head. The aroma is nutty and mixes with chocolate malts, a thin layer of assorted spiciness followed by dusty malt balls. The taste is smooth with roasty malts, nuttiness, some chocolate and a dash of cinnamon moving into lactose, malts balls and a faint level of sweet dark fruity esters. It dries out some into the finish thanks to the roasted malts. I dig this one.
