Rated in 2009. Pours copper with gold edges and off white head. The aroma is citrus sweet from hops to go along with solid malt sweet enhanced floral and lavender note goodness. I was expecting the aroma to be a load of perfumy flowers but it achieves a nice balance. The taste starts with smooth lavender moving into floral and then progressively sweeter with malts and citrus hop flavor. Cedar and citrus hop bitterness even out the sweetness into the finish leaving the palate somewhat refreshed and ready for more.
