Christoffel Bier is a bottom fermented golden-coloured beer with a full body, a very balanced taste and a beautiful bitterness due to a generous addition of fresh hop during the brewing-process. The aroma is fruity and has a fresh taste with a pleasant, hoppy finish.

Nice looking stout 11.2 oz bottle. Murky yellow to orange color with bright white head. Pale-grainy malt aroma with some hop notes around the edges. The flavor is pale malts, nice citrus/grassy hop flavor with a solid hop bitterness. There is also a pleasing breadiness too. Each taste ends with assertive hop bitterness. Nice beer.

33cl swing top bottle, older bottle brewed in the old brewery, darker golden beer with a small white head, aroma of malts, taste is nothing special, drinkable but not great.

Bottle Swing-top: Poured a hazy orange color with a thin creamy white head. The aroma is fruit, slightly veggy with notes of hops. The taste is a metal spicy full hopped flavor. Aftertaste is much more than could be desired.
