Christian Moerlein established his brewery in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine Brewery District in 1853. Next, in 1981 Hudepohl Brewing Company introduced Christian Moerlein as one of the pioneer craft beers of today's craft beer movement. Today we bring you Third Wave IPA. An aggressively hopped India Pale Ale bursting with floral Pale Ale bursting with floral aromas and hints of citrus flavor. Brewed with legacy for the future of our craft.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

Pours a nearly clear, amber color with a small, off white head, moderate retention, and well formed rings of lacing. The aroma is floral with distinct citrus aromas, particularly orange/tangerine and well as caramel. The tastes largely follows the aroma, although the orange/tangerine flavor is zesty, but subtle. Fairly light bitterness up front, although strengthen throughout consumption. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Light, fairly crisp finish.
