Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Pours a brilliant amber with a solid small dark cream head that dissipates slowly, leaving thick lacing. The aroma is caramel, nutty, bready malt and a metallic note with a bit of melanoidin character present and floral hops emerge as it warms. The taste rather malty and has lots of flavors of caramel and toasted malts along with a bit of sweetness and a slight amount of bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
