The German city of Leipzig is home to one of the world’s most unusual styles: Gose (pronounced "goes-ah"), a tart wheat brew. Despite a centuries old lineage, this eclectic brew recently faced extinction. We pay tribute to this style’s rich history by using premium German pilsner malt, wheat, a dash of coriander and salt. The sourness and dry finish are the perfect treat on a hot summer day. Cheers, Michael Lalli

This is a great introduction to gose beer. I think of it as a gose light. The fact that I like it may somewhat ominous if you are a fan of the style, because I myself am not. But I digress. It pours flat, lifeless and murky. Didn't see any of the aforementioned lacing. Smells like apple cider vinegar and urinals. Thin mouthfeel. Apple cider vinegar, wood and salt predominate the taste. Tart lemon finish. In a word... Fantastic.

Very excited to see this sitting on the table, so when i picked it up to read the back label- i was told by the owner to pop it and take the first pour, so i did! .. . pours a lightly bubbled light gold .. . good propa foam, lacing is a beast .. . light light dough, hay, and an old pretzel .. . a touch muddled and middle of the road for a gose, some might call it balanced but i like my gose's doughier or tarter .. . . Somebody stole my pants.
