Pours clear, dark amber with a thick, if not persistent, buff head. Looks more like an ale than a typical lager. Malty aroma has a strong fruity overtone, apple with some pear. Flavor is more pale ale than lager, malty with some fruity notes and a hint of hops. Nothing special, but enjoyable. Body is fairly firm, if lacking fizz. Overall, not too shabby.

Orange tinted sunshine in color with a big frothy textured head rising above. There's good hang time on the head settling eventually into a moderate ringlet. Profile is malty, some caramel in nose and tasting with a strong wheaty showing in the tasting. Moderate bodied and refreshing.
