This Red Rye IPA is brewed in honor of vintage. Named after the Authentic Snapper Rear Engine Riding Mower in Forrest Gump, this IPA is brewed in the traditional West Coast IPA style. We added a hefty amount of rye malt to add a pleasant spicy note with caramunich and C77 for a wonderful color and malt character. Hopped heavily with Centennial and Mosaic hops, this beer combines classic grapefruit and piney notes with tropical ripeness. 2022 World Beer Cup Gold Winner

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Pours clear mahogany with a nice frothy parchment head. Aroma yields resiny hops and zesty citrus, mainly orange with some grapefruit, plus tropical and rye hints. Flavor brings piney and slightly bitter hops, tangy and sweet orange, tart grapefruit, rye, slight tropical sweetness. Texture gives fair body and peppy fizz. Snap it up.
