750 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Northmaen glass an unfiltered and hazy orange-copper coloured Spiced Ale with a two fingers beige and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is moderate sweety malts, herbal and flowery tones, fruity, apples. The flavour is light toasted malts, herbs, woods, fruity, apples, quince. The mouthfeel is light crispy, quite thick and very smooth. The texture is watery. This light to medium bodied S A has a long spicy finish. Very refreshing and easy drinkable; a pleasant farm-beer from the Green Normandy.
