750 ml bottle bought at the brewpub, best drink before 10/2018. Poured in the Northmaen glass a hazy deep gold colored ale with almost no foam. Active carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is sour fruits, apples, spicy, peppery, a touch of smoke. The aroma is floral grass, wood, spicy, strong peppery, sweety grainy malts. The mouthfeel is crispy. The balance spices / sweetness is interesting. This light bodied ale has a quite dry finish. A very refreshing ale. An unusual product from a small brew-farm in the Pays de Bray in Upper Normandy. This ale is close to a cider.
