(brewed under license in Colombia, according to the can). Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is standard tropical pils, saltwater, maize and paper. Flavour is pretty much the same.

Along with "Club", I drank buckets of this brew on my frequent trips to Ecuador in the 80's. Given a choice, I'd prefer a bottle of Club, but I often had no choice. Haven't had any for years, but as I recall it was a drinkable lager, similar to the mass-produced swill here in the US, but it seemed better because I was drinking it in Ecuador! Usually hard to get it cold enough, especially in the Galapagos, but always a welcome refreshment. Not much of a review, I know, but it's something. Go by the reviews of Vac and Bov here.... they've had it a lot more recently than I have, I think (poor sods!)

clear golden-yellow colour, almost no foam, plastic and cardboard in the nose, sweet, light to medium body, a bit tart, dry unpleasant finish - one more very poor south american beer ...

Pours with a very pale yellow body topped by a thick quickly disappearing white head with some lace left on the glass. Sweet caramel corn aroma, amazingly similar to Sugar Smacks cereal (never thought I would use that as a reference on this site). Sweet corny malt flavor with some bitterness. Not much flavor and no finish. Very light bodied, smooth and slightly dry.
