Poured from a brown imported bottle a golden color and white foam . Aroma was non-existent. Body was pretty weak and the flavor was not there as well.

Friends of my son brought this frim Chili. It lost most of its power on the way to Holland. No foam at all, quite light. Malty that is all I can say. (Velp 201402)

pours a very golden, clear, straw colour with a bone white cap, decent retention and lacing. The aroma is grainy & corny, slightly sweet. The taste is excellent but it is a bit grainy and corny with a bit more bitterness than standard carribbean beers. The mouthfeel is very light and very refreshing.

I went to a Peruvian restaurant where they had this in bottles. I never even heard of it before so I gave it a shot. It had an OK golden color and white, sparkling foam on the pour, but from there it went down hill. Aroma was almost non-existent. Body was pretty week and the flavor was not not quality. It might taste better if it sampled closer to Peru, but no one is going to travel that far just for this boring beer.

And so my global journey continues. And I arrive at the heights of the Andes. But nothing spectacular here. The lager is crystal (no play on words intended) clear yellow. The foamy white head is weak and disappears into toal oblivion within a matter of seconds. It lacks any kind of aroma, taste and is like drinking water with an alcohol twist.

A decent lager yellow body, minimal carbonation, small head, fair lacing. Flavor of malt slightly bitter, aroma of corn with a faint hint of metal. O.k. brew nothing spectacular though.

Clear yellow with no head. Smells a little skunked. Watery but bitter, with biting carbonation. Unremarkable, not very tasty. I broke my resolution to drink the whole thing, poured it out, and got myself another beer.

now the cubans get it! for a cerveza this one, imho, actually has taste. and i thought it was pretty good, to boot. when confronted with limited cerveza choices, go with this one over corona.

was the worst lager when i bought a sixer, it isn't by FAR, smooth and a good amount of bitters. good price, nice refreshing subtle lager that does the job in a pinch or on a beach.

This stuff was pretty light. I felt like a freakin gangsta drinking something called cristal. It's got the foil thing goin on also. All I can say is that this is class in a glass.
