Dark Brown with brownish foam head. Aroma is quite sweet and taste is even sweeter. I cannot believe this is a stout, more an German Alt Bier. (Medelby 201307)

clear ruby-brown colour, almost no foam but a correct lacing, earthy maltiness, notes of licorice and red fruits, very sweet, fruity and sugary finish - cloying

(33 cl bottle, in Denmark.) Good head, beautiful dark brown colour, pleasant aroma, flavour and aftertaste are dominated by an overwhelming sweetness. Too sweet for me.
