Thanks to Mike the bartender @ central City for floating me a sample of this. As a result, I was comparing it quite a bit to their other IPA, regular it is not. Quite a bit lighter, nearly pale ale in colour. 1st sip: Ye Gods! Tremendous lacing, thick, sticky, like a Belgian. Smooth, full-bodied, slightly pine finish. 9% ABV well hidden, right until the end. not-so-citrusy, less dry than red racer. I like it! Thick, smooth, and a pleasant caramel flavour. Though personally, I prefer Red Racer.
