This was the first time we were ever able to get our hands on “Incognito” and were super pumped to use it. Incognito, if you haven’t heard of it yet, is an ultra thick, super concentrated form of hops that is in a syrup-like form. This Citra Incognito adds super intense flavor and aroma to IPA. We then dry hopped the beer with Mosaic, Vic Secret and Cashmere hops. Cashmere is new to us as well. This hop is known for its tangerine, melon and peachy characteristics. This beer has an incredible resinous aroma. We get heavy notes of mandarin orange and tangerine. The mouthfeel and flavor reminds us of those orange wax bottle candies that have the liquid inside. The staff also gets tastes of orange otter pops and ultra concentrated Hi-C. There is a bold candied pithiness on the finish and a resin that lingers on the tongue.
