Astral Bootie Beer is a collaboration with Astral®, Asheville’s own paddling shoe manufacturer, and is a tribute to the tradition of drinking beer out of a shoe when you fail to roll up and have to swim. This sessionable IPA uses three different malt varieties for body, and Citra and Amarillo hops for bright tropical and stone fruit flavors and aromas. So next time you’re booted, go for one of these instead of your shoe!

Taps clear golden with a nice ivory head. Aroma is hoppy and resiny with a snip of fruit. Flavor delivers resiny hop and both pomme and citrus tones. Mouthfeel features average body and fizz. Maybe not astral, but will shake your bootie.
