The Codename Series is a line of mysterious R&D beers. They arrive in taprooms under cover of darkness. Proceed to try on multiple disguises as their recipes are perfected. Then emerge into the bright lights (i.e. distribution) when their Small Batch mission is complete. The 6th in the series is Codename: Carolina Fog. We're told its future brand will have a nocturnal theme, which will make much more sense to you in 2022. So put on your codebreaker hat, and revisit this cryptic clue at a future date. Codename: Carolina Fog is a premium Hazy IPA brewed with flaked oats and wheat, and heavily dry-hopped with Cashmere, El Dorado, and Citra. Soft, juicy, and fruit-forward with notes of creamsicle, piña colada, peach, over-ripe melon, and lemongrass

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

Taps translucent peach with a good parchment head. Aroma features resiny hops and citrus and stone fruit. Flavor brings piney but only mildly bitter hops, zesty citrus that is mainly orange with a little grapefruit on the side, tangy and sweet peach, fresh malt. Texture gives nice body and lively fizz. Enjoy, but try not to get foggy.
