Brewed with Canadian wheat and 2-row barley, coriander and orange peel wheat beers are meant to be refreshing during hot summer days. The carbonation levels (the fizz) is slightly more than regular beers to add to its refreshing profile. You can enjoy a wheat beer with an orange slice on the glass rim. Wheat beers also showcase a prominent yeast flavor which is in part responsible for the haziness of the beer. This beer is a slight offstyle version of the Belgian Witbier and was an adventure in itself, it took me literally 4 recipes prior to end up with this success! My wife Mylène has been the judge all along cause it's her favorite! ALC./VOL: 5.0% MALTS: Canadian wheat and 2-row barley, wheat flakes HOPS: East Kent Golding & Czech Saaz ADJUNCTS: Coriander, orange peel BITTERNESS: Very low - 14/100 COLOR: 5

Can that pours a lightly hazy, light-golden colour with a big frothy white head, good retention and some nice foamy lacing streaks. Lots going on in the aromas, starting with the sweeter wheat, then nice spices and berry notes. The taste has good sweetness, spiciness, all with the balance of hops in the finish. Decent dryness to cut the richness. A pretty interesting witbier with a nice blend of orange and coriander, and other notes.

Enjoyed at the Arrow and Loon, Ottawa. Has a small amount of frothy white head and has a slightly hazy, golden amber appearance. Aromas of oranges, citrus hops, mild bananas, wheats. Flavours are yeasty, with notes of bananas, coriander. Also getting some fruitiness like mangoes in the finish. Some wheats and roasted malts round it all up. Mild tingling sensation and has a thick fruity mouthfeel. Really good I find.
