Bought a pint of this brew at the Racoon Lodge on the fringes of Portland. Dark brownish black, small head. Nose is mediocre. Spicey ,floral flavors with a soft bitter finish.

This is one of the three Saisons offered at the Cascade Barrel House last week. It's a dark version with a black color and hardly any foam. Subtle flower and hop aroma. Pretty smooth, with a coffee flavor and flowery hops. Very interesting beer, but I'm not sure what to make of it.
