Very lager alike. IT is clear but it has good foam, not xactly a pilsener in aroma but it is quite hopy wihtout being a bitter. It is hard to find in most part of the country but it wasn't like that before.

A not very impressive beer - on the other hand, at least it isn’t horrible. Aroma is beery but weak, and the color is typical, with a little bit of head that doesn’t persist. Flavor is fair to middlin’, malty without any bitterness. It is not much by itself, so drink it with dinner or at a party.

Pours a clear pale yellow hue with a thin small white head that quickly dissolves into a thin wispy lace. The aroma is of grains and mild hops and not much else. The taste is bitter brew with a decent malt background and hops profile. The mouthfeel is that of a medium body and medium carbonation. Overall nothing special here, works ok when eating Mexican food but thats about it.

Carta Blanca is not the best Mexican beer, and it is not the worst either. I believe it lies somewhere in Limbo. On one side, Corona, the other Sol. This, while in the middle, it leans towards its rival: Corona. A lime is a must.

Standard mexican beer, in fact a little below average. Pours a decent looking yellow body with a thin white head and little carbonation. Aroma was of old corn mash. flavor was similar but also had a metallic twinge to it. not worth $8 bucks a sixer.

This was a nice one. It poured as clear golden color with a somewhat weak head. It had a nice malty flavor with an aroma to match. It had a mild aftertaste and was not unlike many other pale lagers, but was nonetheless enjoyable.

A very avearge Mexican beer. The best thing that I can say about this brew is that it goes down smooth. The taste leaves something to be desired and unlike some of it's counterparts, adding lime does not improve the taste. Will not buy this brew again.

Well, my bottle didn’t come with the gold foil! A beer that is a little more than a pale lager. The first taste is quite impressionalbe and asperite. An industrial bitterness that reminds me of King lager. The rudimentary metal hints are not quite as bad ad King and the aftertaste seems to fade rapidly. Each sip is just a little acrid. More than a Sol or other mexican beers, is not quite as laid back. Typical pale yellow lager appearance and head. That malt liquor impact becomes more palatable with each sip. The 4% belies the actual alky flavor impact. Not much in the aroma category, just seems clean. Many cheaper american pale lagers outperform this brew and are cheaper.

eh..not much to say about this brew. pretty bland and typical for pale swill. golden colour, clear, vibrant, decent amount of carbonation and grainy taste.

Carta w/lime has always been my favorite Mexican summer-drinking beer. This review does not include the lime. Pours golden with very thin head and nice lacing. The aroma is a step above a cheap lager: hoppy, grassy, and some citrus. The mouthfeel is smooth, mild-body, and not watery. The flavor is malty, some hops, and a Mexico tinge - maybe cactus or lime. Interesting, I love this beer!
