On tap at EJs Baden tavern. Tapped a copper-red color with a thin off white cap that did not last and went to a surface lace that stayed the drink. Low effervescence. Aromas of caramel-toffee sweetness. Started a bit thin with lots of sweet tastes and some nuttyness with undetectatable hop accents. Finished thin, sweet and clean. I’m glad I was thirsty (just got off a motorcycle on a humid 95% day)otherwise I may have been tempted to leave this sweet drink on the bar and order a Pilsner. Too sweet for me or for any style of dark lager.

Nice deep red colour with average head and retention. Not very much lacing. Little nose, what is there is of some dark malts. Dark malts at first in the taste, with a fairly bitter finish. The mouth was kinda thin.

A pretty decent beer, one of the few lagers that I buy in the can, as I don't really care for canned beers, some breweries/microbreweries are producing good beers in the can. Quite decent beer, a little light in the malts and hops, 5.6 abv is above average, great dark brownish red color with a clean finish.
