"Harking back to an era where Supper Clubs were In Vogue and Wisconsin had numerous regional breweries making their version of American Style Lagers. You know, back when these types of beers exhibited regional soul. And many of these beers were enjoyed during an evening spent at a local Supper Club, visiting with friends and family and having a good dinner. Supper Club is an eminently drinkable version of a true American Lager. Featuring a greater depth of refreshing malt character than the mass marketed versions of the style, Supper Club is clean yet satisfying. Classic Wisconsin Lager at it's finest."

Got this in a sampler 12-pack. First thing I notice is, there's no description on the bottle, not even the word, "Lager." I had to go to the brewer's website just to find out it's an american-style lager. It is what it is, a somewhat better-quality rendition of a beer style I've never cared for!

Pretty straight forward. Crystalline clear golden in color with a big foamy textured, white head rising briefly above. No ringlet. Light malt nose. Grassy-bready malt in taste. Light and crisp. Effervescent

Sampled from can. Gracias, Phishpond. Pours clear gold. White sudsy head. Classic American Pilsner to the core. Slightly sweet and plain. Save this one on a camping trip. If you know what a CAP is, you know what you're getting...

Almost no aroma, taste or mouthfeel. Very typical American light lager. If you are in to Miller or Bud this would be a slight step up, however, I wouldn't buy it again.

I've had this both draught and out of a bottle -- the bottled version is superior. Much more crisp and flavorful. Avoid it on tap, I've had it 2 different places and both times it did indeed taste either stale or flat, I can't put my finger on it. This beer is similar in style to Spotted Cow, so if you like that you'll probably enjoy this

Sampled on draught at The Old Fashioned: Pours an illuminating bright golden colour with a fluffy white head. Instantaneous aromatic notes of malts, corn and yeast. Not gonna lie here- my least favorite style of beer probably but after a few sips i felt a little more connected to my Wisconsin heritage. Malts are hard to avoid. Ok to a point, but i found it a little unbalanced. Hops came across a little stale. I would love to revisit this again, but not anytime soon. Definately my least favorite Capital beer.
