Hast an Ruass. Ausgezeichnet : Silber Award beim European Beer Star Award 2009 sovie 2001, Kategorie : Kellerbier Dunkel.

500 ml swing-top bottle. Poured in a Bavarian Seidla an unfiltered and cloudy red copper-brown coloured Dunkel with a generous one finger, dense, creamy and tan foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Lively carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is riped fruits, plums, prunes, on a solid roasted malts base, caramel. The flavour is roasted malts, fruity, prunes, notes of dark chocolate and a spicy touch, licorice. The mouthfeel is round, clean, a bit thin and light bitter. The texture is watery. This light bodied Dunkel has a dry roasted malts finish. I don't find on the palate all the promises of the nose, but this Bavarian Dunkel is overall very nice.
