Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Copper coloured with small white to slightly off-white head. Aroma is bready malts along with some fruits, wood and quite wooden and grassy as well. Flavour is pretty much the same in a quite nice, not too harsh, bittery way. Nice session beer. 7 6 6 7 7
Cask@Market Porter. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is grass, herbs, some bready malts as well as some mild leathery notes. Flavour s fruity and floral hops along with some grass and maltyness. Rather bitter in the finish. 6 6 6 6 6 -

Pours out in a deep hazy ruby brown colour with a small fluffy white head. Soap, toasted malts, biscuits and mild peat in the aroma. Medium-bodied with touches of milky chocolate, sweet licorice, toasted malts and peat. Salty medium-bitter finish of licorice, peat and straw.

Thanks to my ex for bringing this back from Scotland. Pours a beautiful clean copper colour, with a beige head that has good retention, and leaves great dirty lace and coats the brew. Tiny bubble carbonation with some bigger bubbles stuck to the side of the glass. Grainy nose, with some nice sweet malt, caramel, notes of molasse, burnt malt and dark fruits. The mouthfeel and flavour are laking though (after having some great aromas). Taste of watered-down caramel, fruits, and bread in the aftertaste. Still, a very good bitter that is more refreshing than punchy.
