Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7
The aroma is nice and sweet with some hints of slight caramel or malt; it is hard to place, with maybe some yeast or spice as well. The appearance is a very nice dark red to rusty-like in color with a head that diminishes leaving some lacing on the glass that is off-white in color and creamy to some extent. The mouthfeel is light to medium in body with some malt complexity, off set by some hoppy balance with a pallet that is clean and smooth. The flavor is malty and smooth with some bitter from the hops that are present with some spice and other hard-to-place characteristics with an aftertaste that is bitter-like with maybe some hints of citrus or grapefruit bitter. Overall, this is pretty refreshing stuff and I like it, especially the bitter aftertaste that quenches your thrist. I would have no problem drinking this brew in long sessions; drinkabilty is high for this brew.

Red color, medium head. Lightly malty hoppy ale. Finish is kind of weak and watery. Aftertaste is bitter.

Lots and lots of hops to start this one off, but it tames down as the beer finishes. No harsh aftertaste, but no balls either to the flavor after the initial hops.

Amber apperance with a fairly moderate head. Aroma is cherries, oak, grapes, and plums. The flavor is slightly bitter with some dark fruit and spices. This is a nice beer. Almost like an Irish Red.
